About the show
You might think mermaids don't run, but in Belamour's mind they do.
'Belamour' is a new comi-tragic one-man show. which follows the journey of a builder, who's desperately searching for answers after the death of his mother and the birth of multiple sclerosis on his body. But it is much more than that...
Based on a true story, the show explores the conflict created between Belamour's loyalty for his family and his love for an outsider.
This explosive, new, multilingual show unfolds like a piece of urban poetry, uncompromising, funny, telling a story that celebrates the human spirit.
'Belamour' is written and performed by Ewens Abid, and directed by Zois Pigadas,
(director of 'Moormaid', Arcola Theatre; Top Ten Off-West End Production of 2018 by Theatre Weekly).
The show is a nonprofit production in aid of the MS Society UK.
